Mirabaud strengthens UK wealth management team with key hires

Based in London and reporting directly to Stuart Bates, UK Market Head of Mirabaud & Cie, Joe and Liam will support the team in continuing to provide clients with independent, bespoke advice on managing their private and professional assets on investments and broader wealth management products and services.

Prior to his appointment on 31st July, Joe Knight, who is a Chartered Wealth Manager, was an Executive Director and the head of the Strategic Investment Advisory team at UBS. He has over twenty years of industry experience including roles at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse having began his career at American trading house Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Knight’s experience has centred on providing sophisticated families with investment solutions to meet their needs and he recently managed more than £1bn across multi-asset portfolios.

Meanwhile, Liam Jones joined the team on 10th July from UBS where he was an Associate Director advising successful entrepreneurs, executives and families with their personal wealth. His prior roles have also included time at Smith and Williamson Investment Management and Asset Risk Consultants (ARC).
